Mary's Baby Shower

On Saturday, May 8th, Kelli, Lindsay and I threw Mary a baby shower!  We had a really good time planning the party and I think everyone had a good time!  Mary got a lot of nice gifts and now we are just waiting for that baby to arrive!
(i am not thinking the best these days - as i think my baby is sucking out all of my brain cells that Addysen left me - so unfortunately, i did not get many pictures)

I kept our tradition alive and decided to make Mary a fancy hat to celebrate this occasion!
(i think she liked it! - he he)

The yummy cake!

Kelli, Lindsay and I decided to make Mary some diaper cakes.  They were fun to do, create and decorate!  We all used different themes and different kinds of diapers - so they can decide which they like best for their new little bundle of joy!

Hanging at home

In May, I started my new summer work hours - I now work Monday - Friday 8:00-12:00. So Addysen and I get to spend a lot more time together before baby number 2 arrives. I love it and so does Addysen.
on one of the first days we came home early, Addysen decided she wanted to spend some time with her cows. I bet she probably stayed out there for 20-30 minutes, just hanging out and talking to her cows! She's such a farm girl!

Addysen has also been enjoying lots of time outside - when it's not raining!
Hopefully one day the sun will come out again!
Playing in her new water/sand table! Hours of fun!

The night before Easter...
Since Grandma Sharon and Papa couldn't make it to Addysen's birthday party, we had an Easter/Birthday celebration.

Aaron's Birthday!

For Daddy's birthday, Addysen and I decided to take Aaron out for a nice steak supper and then we baked him a cake! Addysen was so proud of herself. We decorated it in green and yellow (daddy's favorite colors). Addysen was in charge of the decorations. So she drew a tractor on the cake for daddy. He loved it! Addysen also made him a birthday card (unfortunately I did not get a picture of it) She colored a picture on the inside and had me draw on the outside... I asked her what she thought the front should say and here is what she wanted. "Babies" "Cows" "Rocko." Then she told me to draw some pictures... Aunt Mary, her baby in a stroller, Uncle Nate and herself standing next to Uncle Nate.
Now I think that clearly states, Happy Birthday! Don't you?
