T-Ball!

Addysen had a good season of t-ball!  This year she loved every minute of it and was sad when it was over.  She is getting pretty good at it too, can't wait to watch her again next year!

Last day of Kindergarten

May 31, 2013 was Addysen's last day of Kindergarten.  Aaron and I are so proud of all the hard work she put in this year. I can't believe the year is already over!  She has grown so much, learned so much and is just growing into an awesome little lady!  She's the best!  First grade, here she comes!!!!

Family supper in the field...

Mid-May, when the guys were in the field, working as hard as they could to get the crops in before they got rained out again, the other wives and I took supper out to our hard working guys. Plus we thought it would be a good chance for all of us to hang out and have a chance for the kiddos to see their busy Daddy's.  It was an evening break that I think we all enjoyed and needed!

Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day over 2 days, since our life is getting so busy with all of Addysen's different activities - which worked out great for me;) So we had Jim, Sharon, Nathan, Mary, Anna and Lola over for supper on Saturday before mother's day.  We had a good dinner, prepared by Aaron and the girls had a great time playing together!

Here are a couple of the pictures that I got of Grandma Sharon and her grandgirls... It is impossible to get them to all cooperate at the same time, so here were 2 of my favorites!

I love Lola's smile in this one, but Addysen ruined it.  She has started to take after her mother and tries to act like a goof in every picture!

On Sunday, Mother's Day, we went to church and then the girls and I, Tammy and her kids took Grandma K out to lunch at the Landmark.  It was another wonderful day!

The Little Mermaid

In the beginning of May we took the girls to The Little Mermaid Performance at The Orpheum Theater.  All the girls had a great time and enjoyed the show! This was the first "movie" for 3 of the girls, but they did a great job of sitting still and watching the whole time.  It was so much fun watching the excitement in their eyes as they watched. The show was great, but half the fun for me was watching the girls watch the show. (and hearing Ainsley and Anna fighting over the armrest;)

Swimming Lessons

Addysen took swimming lessons in April and then Addysen, Ainsley and I took swimming lessons in May. Addysen was in a new class in April and it was difficult for her, but she improved so much in the 2 months that she was taking lessons. We are so proud of her, she worked so hard and enjoyed every minute of it. By the end of the May session she was able to swim on her back all the way across the pool, swim under water, learned the freestyle stroke, how to go to the bottom of the pool for rings and is trying to learn how to dive off the side of the pool (which she hasn't quite mastered yet, but it won't be long!)

There she is, diving into the water.  She was able to do it the first couple of times, until she belly flopped.  Now she is scared to do it... I know if she keeps practicing, she'll get it.

Ainsley and I took the Mommy and me class in May and we had a good time.  She did a great job and she improved a lot over the month with kicking her feet, using her arms, jumping into the water and putting her head under water.  I think we have 2 little fish on our hands, they love to swim!

Addysen's Kindergarten Play

Addysen was a goat in the Kindergarten play.

She did such a good job learning her lines that she was asked to learn some more lines, this time the lines of a cow!  It was a cute little play, but what else would you expect from Kindergartners.
