Uncle Ryan & Aunt Kelli's Wedding

Miss Addysen did a wonderful job at Uncle Ryan and Aunt Kelli's wedding. She walked down the aisle at dress rehearsal AND at the wedding with no problem. She even stayed with the bridesmaids through the whole ceremony. She was such a big girl and we couldn't have been more proud of her! I guess she deserves the pink vacuum cleaner she has been wanting!

her prized possession of the moment, the beautiful flower she picked at the mall.

She loved the gift Aunt Kelli and Uncle Ryan got her.
Now she has a special place for all her precious jewelry!

Dancing Buddies!
It wasn't long after we got to the reception that Addysen noticed Jenn and Liz. She turned and looked at me, with a huge smile on her face, "Momma look, those are the girls that like to dance with me!!" Then of course, she couldn't wait for the music to start!

Dancing with her buddy, Uncle Nate.

The one and only family picture I got.
Of course I didn't realize this until the end of the evening, when Addysen was running out of goodness!

Fort Wayne Children's Zoo

Before Uncle Ryan and Aunt Kelli's wedding, we decided to take extra time to visit the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. Addysen had such a good time, she loves to look at the animals, but she is also a little like her Daddy... She did not dilly dally, we'd look at an animal, then she was ready to move to the next one pretty quickly. This was good, because it was hot and it left more time for her to do the things she really enjoyed, getting up close with the animals and feeding them.

checking out the baby goats.
She was a little nervous about touching them as she saw one of them try to eat Daddy's shirt.

I think we spent the most time feeding the ducks and the fish.

Checking out the seals.
They were really cute and later we got to see them swim!

My favorite part was the giraffes. We weren't allowed to touch them, but Addysen and I got to feed them some lettuce - it was very cool!

Addysen's favorite part was riding the miniature horses.
She picked this sweet little horse to ride on, her name was Sadie.

Daddy walked with her around the trail, but Addysen did just fine by herself.
These horses were very well trained. As it was their turn to go out, they'd back up out of their "parking slot" and take two trips around the trail and then they'd go right back into their "parking slot" without anyone guiding them. Aaron and I were impressed!

And to top it off, she got to ride the marry-go-round!

WHAT A FUN DAY AT THE ZOO!

Memorial Day

When I was growing up, Memorial Day was the first unofficial day of summer, the first day of swimming. Most of the time it was raining and we didn't get to, but that was the plan. So it was awesome that we got to do it this year. Our Addysen is a little fish and loves the water.

We got the boat in and she is ready to swim!!!

Testing out the water at Great Grandpa Vince's dock.

Couldn't wait to jump in.

Jumping off the back of the boat to Uncle Nate.

loving life!

Hunter's Birthday at Chucky Cheese!

This was Addysen's first experience at Chucky Cheese, needless to say, she loved it!! She was given token's at the party and was free to do with them as she pleased. My heart melted as she used her last token on cousin Morgy. She enjoyed the party, the pizza, the games and fun, but she did not like "Chucky Mouse" She was terrified of him (it was kind of sad but kind of funny) and she lived through it!

enjoying pizza

the one thing Addysen told me on the way there was that she wanted to ride a horse. I'm glad we got that accomplished! She was a serious rider!

in her eye's, she won the game.
