Here comes the Easter Bunny.

Happy Easter!

Well, we've had a busy weekend and we survived it. Friday Addysen and I spend the entire day shopping with Lindsay. We had so much fun and spent too much money, but we got some good buys. Saturday we had an Easter dinner at Grandpa Jim and Grandma Sharon's house. Grandma Sharon cooked, everything was delicious as always. Uncle Nate even blessed us with his presence. Then on Sunday we went to church, then to Aunt Cheryl's for dinner. Oh, wait. I guess Aaron, Addysen and I took a detour. We drove around for about an hour after church before we went over there. Addysen does not like to sleep in public, she is nosey and has to see everything going on. So we knew there was no chance that she would take a nap once we got there. Luckily our detour didn't cause any problems, we weren't late, the Lott's were later than we were.... he he he!!! Anywho. We had a good lunch and we all enjoyed watching the kids play together! Addy really liked showing off and walking all round in front of everyone. We hope you all had a good Easter too!

Dancin' Machine

This past weekend, we went to a wedding were Addy got to show off her dancing skills. She did a great job for not having an afternoon nap. She did however pass out for a while in grandma's arms. Once she woke up, it was like the beat caught her. She just started clapping and bouncing. She was ready to boogie down. However Mom and Dad, said that she had to go home and go to bed, because it was getting too late for her. She was awfully cute though. I was a little disappointed though that she slept through the chicken dance song. Per the baby sitter, Stephanie. They have a toy that sings this song and Addysen likes to clap and bounce to it. The last I heard, she was also starting to flap her arms like the chicken too! I have yet to see this. So I thought it would have been cute to see her do this, but a baby's gotta sleep. I'm sure I'll see it soon. When I do, I'll get it on tape!

Sitting forward in the new car seat!!

Let me know when you're ready.

When we are getting ready to go somewhere, usually it happens that we get Addy's coat on first. Then once we have her bundled up and ready to go, we get our coats on and then we leave. Well, Addy's coat is (first of all, super cute) but very big and hard for her to walk around in. She usually falls over in it a couple of times. I help her up and then she falls over again. Eventually she gives up and just lays there and just waits for us to pick her up to go. So this is the picture that you see. Addysen has fallen over in her coat and she is waiting on us to leave. I just thought it was funny. The second picture is a picture of peanut coming to check on her. - what a thoughful cat!

Hi Guys...

Addy showing off her shirt that shows that she supports the troops and her Uncle Bryan. Hurry home Uncle Bryan, we all miss you!
Well, since the last time that I have written, I'm sure a lot has happened. I just can't remember everything. So I will just try to hit some highlights.... Addysen is now 11 months. We are getting ready for her 1st birthday. I have been busy buying her more stuff than she needs. (well, basically clothes and she NEEDS those.) Addysen has just been a busy little bee. She is just walking all over the place. She thinks that she is pretty big stuff. Right now we are dealing with a double ear infection. It started 2 Tuesday's ago (3/4). I went and picked her up from daycare and the babysitter said that she has some drainage from here ear all day. It was gross. I've never seen this before. So I called the doctor the next day and they said that we should bring her in. Daddy took her to the doctor (for the first time!!! all went well) We got some medication and thought that everything was going just dandy. Well then on the following Wednesday morning, I saw that same drainage again, from the other ear. I called the doctor and she said that the medication must not be fighting this particular bug, so she changed our medication. Well, this medication then gave poor baby Addy tummy troubles (I'll spare you the details). So, we are now on the third medication for these darn ears. All the while you would have no idea that this little girl had an ear infection. We didn't know, obviously for it to get so bad that it perforated.... in both ears. I think now all is going well and she is going to pull though.

Let's see here. Aaron and I are attempting to switch Addysen over to table food. It is going alright. This kid just could careless if she ate. However, sometimes she really likes table food when she can feed herself. We haven't quite figured this out yet. Sometimes she eats like a champ and other times, like tonight, she wanted nothing to do with food at all. We'll get it figured out.

Oh, oh, oh. I have to share this one quick story. Today, Aaron and I were on the couch watching the Illini lose. Addysen was being so good and playing all by herself for the longest time. Well, this is a follow up to the video of Addy feeding her baby. She was sitting on the floor, feeding her baby (which is enough to melt your heart) then she would stop, put the bottle down, pick the baby up and pat it on the back:) Then just repeat this over again over again. How cute is that !!!! I so bad wanted to get a video of this, but as soon as I got up, I knew she would stop.
