She's 5 & can chew gum!

Addysen turned 5 on April 1st!  She has been so excited about this birthday.  Lately, everything she is doing, or going to do, she would say, "Well, when I turn 5...." or "I'll be able to do that when I'm 5!"  So this was a pretty big birthday for her.  Also, we have been telling her that she could not chew gum until turned 5.  So when we asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday, the first thing she said was, "CHEW GUM."  She did chew gum on her birthday, but it did not turn out how she imagined.  So far, she does not like gum...

We celebrated Addysen's birthday over 2 days.  Her birthday party was the day before her birthday, and then on her birthday, we celebrated by doing whatever she chose.  So we went shopping so she could spend her birthday gift cards, we got her a swimming suit for swimming lessons she just started, then we went to Chuck E Cheese's and we ended the day at Whitey's!  It was an awesome day and I enjoyed spending every minute of it with my brand new 5 year old!

MARCH 31, 2012 - THE FAMILY BIRTHDAY PARTY!
Our weird 5 year old, does not like cake with frosting on it, so I figured it was a waste of money to buy her a cake.  So this year, I made a giant cookie, which she loved!  As you can tell, her birthday party theme was COWS!  (She is such a farm girl!)

Looks like our little piggy liked the cake! Addysen ate the cake too, but only after we scrapped the icing off of it - WEIRD KID!
