Easter with the Johnson's

After church we headed over the Aunt Cheryl's house for Easter dinner.  We had a delicious lunch, lots of family bonding for the adult and kids, and an Easter egg hunt.  It was a great afternoon, as it always is with the fam.

Easter Morning

Right before Addysen went to bed on the Saturday night before Easter, she had me go around and put notes on all the doors that said, "Dear Easter Bunny, I am still a little bit scared of you, so will you please not come in my house. Thank you - Addysen"  She must be a really good / nice bunny because she always obeys Addysen's request.  ;)  When the girls got up on Sunday morning, they were very excited and began to open the gifts inside that Aaron and I gave them.  Then we went outside and brought in the gifts from the Easter Bunny and opened them.  And finally they hunted for all the eggs in the yard that the Easter bunny left. The girls got spoiled with candy and gifts, which I'm sure we'll be munching on for weeks!

The Link Easter

We celebrated Easter with the Links on Saturday before Easter at Grandma Sharon and Papa's house.  The girls got spoiled rotten with gifts and candy, they had an Easter egg hunt and we had a delicious dinner prepared by Grandma Sharon!

Daddy's Birthday!

We celebrated Daddy's birthday in the middle of Addysen's 10 day birthday celebration and in the middle of breeding cows. :)  The day of his birthday, they were breeding cows, which needed to be done at 7:30pm.  So after Daddy got done with evening chores, he came home, he opened his presents (all of which Addysen picked out all by herself!) and we went out for a quick dinner at El Rancherito - because we knew they would be fast!  Yada, Yada, Yada, dinner was done and back to the farm he and Addysen went.  Then we ended the night with some dutch apple pie!  Ahhh... the birthday of a farmer;)

Opening presents

He loved the card, the picture and the note Addysen wrote to him.

She picked out a batman shirt for her superhero dad.

NOW IT'S TIME FOR SILLY PICTURES...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! WE LOVE YOU!

Addysen's Family Birthday Party

Addysen's birthday celebration started on March 28th with a family birthday party!  Then the celebration continued on for 10 days as we tried to schedule parties around Easter.  It was a long celebration which Addysen really enjoyed!  I can't believe she is 6 now, where has the time gone?

Addysen helped make the brownies for her birthday party.
A gift card! She loves to do her own shopping!

After dessert, Morgan and Addysen did a dance routine for us.
While Morgan and Addysen were dancing, Anna and Ainsley were too quiet.  We thought for sure they were up to no good, but we were wrong!  They were under the stairs, coloring;)

one sneaky bunny!

Ainsley made a bunny mask at Hope's house and she had a great time playing with it.  She was running all over the house acting like a bunny.  She really enjoyed running in the bathroom and scaring Addysen who was in the shower.  She is such a goofball!
