Our New House

Happy Memorial Day!
Today was a busy day for us. We started the day, with Aaron going to work to do chores and Addysen had a temp. I'm pretty sure she is cutting some teeth:( She has been sleeping a lot, cranky, chewing, a temp and wants nothing to do with brushing her teeth. Then this afternoon, we took off for an afternoon of driving (which Aaron and I were not looking forward to due to Addysen is still not the best passenger in the car - A LOT of crying) We took off anyways and visited the cemetery sites of our grandparents that have passed away. We had a really nice day remembering our loved ones. Addysen actually did surprisingly well in the car - considering all the driving. Along our tour, we also stopped by the building site of our new house. I had not been there since they started digging, which was on May 9th. It was quite a site to see and I still don't believe that it is happening. I am really excited and nervous. So anyways, here are couple of pictures of what they have gotten done so far. I'll try to keep you all updated as much as I can.

Checkin Out the Cows

Uncle Nate and Addysen looking at the cows at Grandpa Jim's and Grandma Sharon's house. (no Uncle Nate isn't a giant, Addy is just short and Uncle Nate is really tall)

What a farm girl, climbing the fence already!
(Addy, don't get your outfit dirty you look super cute, love Mom)

Addysen loves to go out to the pasture with daddy and check out the cows. She gets so excited. Once we get there she starts smiling, pointing and saying, "whas dat?" "whas dat?" over and over again. Eventually we can get her to say "MOO" She loves to watch them and hear them moo at her. She'll just sit there and watch them for the longest time, then she starts saying hi to them and waving. Then of course she waves bye to them too. Also, I think that she has finally figured out that they are not kitty's. She use to say "kee" "kee" every time she saw them, but she doesn't anymore - she's learning!

Our Hero, Our Soldier is HOME!!

Bryan, Emily's husband has returned home. He is here, safe and we couldn't be happier!!!! They are in the process of moving to their new base in the state of Washington. We were lucky enough to have them stop at home on their way there. They were here about one week. We were very busy the whole time they were home. We had a welcome home cookout for them/get together for Mother's Day, we went to Wild Life Prairie Park, and they had Aubrie baptised, followed by a cookout at our house. It was a lot of fun while they were home and we are going to miss them, but I can't wait to go visit them. I've never been to Washington. WELCOME HOME BRYAN, WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HOME AND WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE SAFE!!!

The Baker's Home Visit

Aubrie and Addysen

Hey, nice hair...

Oooooooo!!!! Addysen loved seeing the chickens at Wild Life Prairie Park

Addysen, Ben, Aubrie and Morgan checking out the donkey. At first, Addysen was scared of the donkey, then she wanted to touch it after the other kids were. So I got her closer, but then she chickened out. She still loved looking at him. She just kept waving and saying, "Hi"Caleb, Addysen and Grandma Karyn checking out the pony statue at Wild Life Prairie Park. Caleb is showing Miss Addysen how to pet it. (yes, Caleb calls Addysen, Miss Addysen)

Addysen and Aubrie played okay together. They both thought that the toy was theirs at Grandma Karyn's house.
Addysen is showing Aubrie how to push her baby stroller. Can we say bossy?
The one and only picture I got of Ben's face. He hates his picture taken now.
Uncle Bryan became a jungle gym as all the kids started jumping on him. What a sport!

Hey crazy lady with the weird hair, what are you doing? That's my juice cup!

Addy and her baby

This past weekend, Addysen was playing with her baby and her baby stroller a lot. She was trying to sit on the leg of the stroller, but it wasn't working. So I put her in the seat. She thought that it was so cool. I pushed her around the house and she was yelling, "weeeee!!" It was so funny.

Then she figured out how to crawl in there herself.
