Craftin with Pepe

This past Saturday, we had a play day / craft day with the Higgersons.  Addysen had been dying to paint lately, so I found a painting project on pinterest, and we did it.  It was a lot of fun and turned out pretty cute.  I completely intended to have Ainsley participate and paint too, but she had no interest.  She was much more interested in playing and "mothering" Tate and Beau.

Peighton and Addysen happy as clams to be painting!

Addysen's finished product!  I think they turned out pretty cute!

sneaking around licking the beater.  I gave it to her, but I think she thought I was going to take it from her, so she hid behind the counter while she was licking it off... She really liked it!

Here is a comparison of the girls, as Ainsley wore another one of Addysen old outfits the other day

Sunday School Program

December 9th was Addysen Christmas program at church.  She had fun, and she sang loud and we all enjoyed watching the program.

my beautiful girls, my most prized possessions!

crazy kids!  Hunter, Ainsley (Hunter's buddy), Addysen and Lexi (who is too busy for pictures;)

My family... My life.

Girl Scouts Christmas Party!

On December 8th, Addysen had a girl scouts Christmas party.  They made gingerbread houses, colored pictures, decorated picture frames, made gifts for their mom, exchanged gifts and saw Santa!  She had a GREAT time!!! Our troop leaders, Miss Jiliane and Miss Marie did an awesome job preparing this for the girls!

WHOOPS!

Aaron was not very happy that I took this picture... but I say it is a memory;)  This is the first time we have had a tree fall down.  I thought we picked a pretty good tree this year, but I think the trunk must be pretty crooked.

School Snow Show!

On December 5th Addysen had her Christmas program at school.  It was really cute and it was so much watching her, she did a great job!

ready to preform!

Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving, we went to Aunt Cheryl's house in Altona.  We had a fabulous, yummy lunch, the kids played and ran around like wild animals and I got to catch up with the fam and all my adorable cousins;).  I did bring my camera, intending to take tons of cute pictures, but totally forgot - whoops!  But we must have had a good time, because this is the one and only picture that I have that Tammy took with her phone, right before we left;)

The next night, we went to Grandma Sharon and Papa's house for Thanksgiving with the Links.  I did bring my camera again, but this time, I took pictures.  We had a good time, delicious food (all prepared by Grandma Sharon) and once again the girls ran around like uncaged animals.  There was even a crab walk race, some wheelbarrowing and a pillow fight.  It was a good Thanksgiving! I am very thankful for ALL of my wonderful family!

Aaron's evil/fun little game with the girls.  Hit them with pillows until they fall down.  It really is a win/win kind of game.  For us, it's funny when they fall, for them, they like to get hit with pillows.

The crab walk race... it is clear that Uncle Nate cheated;)

Ainsley is a NUT!

Oh Ainsley!  You never know what she is going to do next!  She put on quite the show for us when she put this little ensemble on;)  She likes to get on the "stage" (or fireplace) and perform for us, just like her sister!

Evan's 3rd Birthday!

Happy Birthday Frank!  We love you!

Evan wanted pink cupcakes with pink frosting and sparkles and that is what her Momma made her!  So cute and yummy!

Time for presents!  Addysen is wearing her coat because she wanted to go outside and play, but no Morgy did not;(

After the supper, playing, cupcakes and presents the girls snuggled into Evan's new "daybed" and watched a movie!

Trick -or- Treating

We started trick-or-treating on the Sunday before Halloween, and we finished up on Halloween. The girls had a blast and got LOTS of candy. Aaron and I had fun watching the girls, but man, it is a chore driving from house to house, loading and unloading the girls.... Glad it's over for another year:)

our little cow and Dorthy (from the Wizard of "Bob") are ready to trick-or-treat!

first stop... to see Marge

Now Miss Anna, the cheerleader, is with us at Grandma Sharon and Papa's house.

and one last stop at Grandma K's house!

Grandma K makes a good Dorthy too:)

Lexi and Hunter stopped by Grandma K's house too.  This was the best picture I got of the kids.  Addysen was mad because I told her she could take her wig off, but then I made her put it on again for another picture....

Addysen's School Halloween Party

On Halloween, I went to Addysen's class for her Halloween party.  I helped her carve a pumpkin, the kids went trick-or-treating in the high school, they listened to some books, they had treats and played a game.  It was a fun afternoon and I was so glad that I got to be there with her!

They played a game where they turned each other in to mummy's by wrapping their partner in toilet paper.

Carving Pumpkins

The girls had a blast carving pumpkins and pulling out all the gunk!  It's a fun family tradition that I was happy to have Ainsley participate in this year!

Ainsley's is on the left & Addysen's is on the right

The left side of this pictures says, "Happy Halloween!"  The right side of the pictures seems to be saying, "I hate this!"
