Ainsley was very excited to see....  not much.  I'm not sure she even realized that we were looking at animals.  But she was very happy and enjoyed the day!

I told Addysen to strike a pose, and this is what I got :)

The next Taylor Swift...

I tried and tried to get this video to upload to my blog, but it just wouldn't work for some reason.  So I had to upload it to You Tube.  This one was just too cute not to share!

Time for a Prayer

Just last week, Hope noticed that Ainsley was folding her hands during their lunch time prayer.  It was very obvious on one particular day.  As Ainsley was drinking her bottle, Riley started the prayer.  Ainsley put her bottle down and folded her hands like the other kids.  I couldn't believe she did it!!  So we watched her closely that night at supper, as Addysen began our supper time prayer.  Sure enough, she folded her hands!  So of course I had to get this on video to show the world that our child is genius! ;)

(Addysen is saying the prayer somewhat quietly, but as soon as Ainsley hears it she turns her head to look at her and folds her hands!  It melts just my heart! - I guess I'm going to have to keep her too!)
*you may have to pause the music at the bottom of the page to hear Addysen*

Daddy's Little Farm Girl!

While Addysen was restricted to low-activity play, her FAVORITE thing to do
was to go outside to our pasture and watch Daddy and Uncle Nate
put the cows through the chute!

Hard to tell from this picture... Farm Girl or Girly Girl?
I think BOTH!

Getting quite the biology lesson.  Watching Uncle Nate "put teeny-tiny babies" in the cows belly :)

Of course watching the process is not enough for our little farm girl.  She has to go inside
and "practice" what Uncle Nate is doing - - with her farm set.

Still farming - building fence with Daddy

Now they must be having a serious farming meeting about the days operations...

UH-OH! I think Daddy is about to be fired!
He has to remember that on this farm, Addysen is the BOSS!!  She knows that and
she lets him know if he is not playing the way that she wants him to.
(it's funny to hear them argue when they are playing farm)

AND WHAT WAS AINSLEY DOING DURING ALL THIS FARMING...

Eating a hot dog :)

Mother's Day

On Mother's day the girls and I got up and went to church together while Aaron went to the field to keep planting.  Then the girls and I had lunch with Grandma K, Aunt Tammy, Morgan, Caleb and Evan.  Then we went over to Target where Grandma K does what she does best... she spoiled the grandkids ROTTEN! It was a fun afternoon with some rockin' Mommas and some pretty cute kids:)

Morgan and Addysen
(Morgan had her hair crimped...she said, "this is what they did in the old days." I did that to my hair when I was her age - what a jerk! ;)

That evening, Aaron, Addysen, Ainsley and I went to Grandma Sharon and Papa's house for supper.  Uncle Nate, Aunt Mary and Anna were there too!  Papa prepared supper for all of us.  Thanks again Papa!
