Arizona Trip

Mom, Lindsay and I traveled to Phoenix, Arizona for our friend, Lisa's wedding.  We flew out of Moline on 4/24/14 and we were so thankful to get to stay with MaryAnn in her timeshare. It was beautiful there! We were there from Thursday night to Sunday... and then our flight was delayed and then cancelled in Dallas, Texas until Monday.... Then we made it home.  It was a fun, adventurous trip, full of laughs.

DAY 1

After a long day of flying, we were happy to finally arrive in AZ!

 DAY 2

First morning in Arizona. 

We started the day off with a picture in front of a palm tree and then we had a hour massage!  Such a perfect way to start a vacation! Then we were off to get pedicures and a delicious lunch. 

Then we got all fancy and went to the wedding.

And we met our friend Caleb there!

We even brought a little bit of country with us to the wedding:)

We had a good catching up and getting a little silly.

Mom was the only one who braved the dance for and even got the father of the bride on the dance floor.

Day 3

We found a mall and did a little shopping.

We even found a cactus.

Day 4

Time to fly home, and irritate my mom;) She only had her eyes closed, she wasn't sleeping... but I say the crackers I put on her chest tell a different story;)

Laid Over in Dallas Texas, after spending the whole day in the airport.  We were annoyed, exhausted and ready for a drink:)

DAY 5
We found another mall, shopped until we had to buy some more luggage and then we made it home, finally!!!!

Easter

YAY!  The Easter Bunny came!!  Lets hunt eggs!

Easter with the Link's

We celebrated Easter with the Link's on Good Friday. Grandma Sharon and Papa spoiled the kids rotten with gifts and an egg hunt.  Then we had a delicious meal prepared by Grandma Sharon.  As always, we had a great time celebrating with family.

A Roney Baptism

We were happy to be able to go to the baptism of Maddox and Emersyn, my cousin Sarah's twins. They had a nice service at First Lutheran Church where Sarah went to church as a child. Afterwards we went to Happy Joes Jungle Bungle.  The food was delicious and the company was fantastic!  We had a great time talking and catching up and the kids had fun in the jungle bungle... until Ainsley crawled through pee that wasn't hers...  That was when we knew it was time to go. :)

Sorry Mom and Aunt Kathy, but I think these 2 have surpassed your cuteness:)

Swimming lessons

Addysen and Ainsley took swimming lessons again this year at the Hawthorne pool.  As they always do, they learned a lot and had tons of fun!  This was the first year that Ainsley got in the water for swimming lessons, by herself.  I don't think she learned too much during the April lessons... Peighton was in her class, and I think they did more chit-chatting than swimming, but they did have fun together.  During the May session, she participated a lot more and made some progress.  Addysen did great in both the April and May sessions and even learned to dive!
