Niabi Zoo

On Saturday, we went to Niabi zoo with Tammy and her kids and Grandma Karyn. We had an awesome day! It was HOT, and there were a lot of biting bugs but we still had fun. I don't know how I plan it, but every tme I to go to the zoo, it is always hot. Oh well, we still had a great time.

Our favorite was the giraffe exhibit!

Addysen and the tiger. He was very pretty. We stopped by his cage twice. The first time he was inside, but luckily he came outside later, because Caleb was waiting to see the tiger all day!

Morgan was an excellent helper taking care of Addysen - holding her hand and showing her where all the cool animals were.

Checking out the camels from ground level.

Caleb and Addysen pose for a picture! Addysen was holding on to Caleb, until he told her not to.

Walking out of the park, drinking some water. It is such a pretty zoo, I was trying to get some good pictures of her. This is the best I got. Isn't she pretty!

We had such a fun day, can't wait to go again!

Illini Game

Well, we finally made it down to Champaign for the Illini game after some harry moments.

I think our driver must have drank too much:)

Addy, Daddy, Morgan and Jared watching the band.

I'd say we had pretty good seats!

Addysen didn't quite know what to think at first...

but soon she loosened up and before we knew it she was joining in on the wave!

She cheered hard...

but was also concerned during some tense moments. She is already a true fan.

All in all we had a great time!!! (thanks Uncle Brandon)

By the end of the day she was wiped out and asleep before we pulled out of the parking lot!

1st time swimming in the cove

Playing it cool on the way to the cove...
Once we got there, we had some lunch. We had the famous Oak Run food mart, ham salad sandwiches and Doritos! Very Nutritious! Then it was time to get in. The water was a little cold. So she would jump into Daddy, and the turn around and say, "Mommy, Mommy, up peas, up peas!" Then she would want to jump back in once she got on the boat. We did this for quite a while. She never did get in and stay in. Hopefully next time.

After all the excitement of swimming off the back of the boat... She was out!

WHAT A FUN DAY! I LOVE BEING A MOM!

Lisa's visit home

Lisa came home for a visit last week and we got to hang out with her twice! Once night we went over to her parents house for supper. Addysen put on quite the show. She was a complete goof. She got a little slap happy and crossed the line. So Lisa and Lois got to see Addysen in time out:( I know it is shocking to most of you, but my child is not perfect. We are working on it though! Then we also got to have a cookout with Lisa at Lindsay and Jared's house. (thanks for doing that guys! - supper was AWESOME!) It was good to see Lisa and catch up. Maybe with Addysen's cuteness we can convince her to move home:)! -- Just Kidding. We just miss ya Lisa!

House Update...

The front of our house. We have shingles on the roof, our windows are in, our tubs are in and the electricians are about finished!
The back of our house.

The sliding glass door in the kitchen going out to the patio.

Our first picture in front of the fireplace. (kind of)

Addysen in my new tub. I can't wait!
