CHRISTMAS MORNING
Christmas with the Johnson's
The tradition continues! The Johnson's once again had their ugly Christmas shirt contest at our Christmas gathering. Unfortunately, as our family grows and as the kids multiply, I never seem to accomplish everything I want, or talk enough to everyone at these gathering. Therefore, I don't have a picture of every one's holiday best. The winners this year were Kelsey and Meggan. Very deserving, but the voting was rigged, as I didn't even get to vote. I think I won - yet, there are no pictures of me to prove it. You'll just have to take my word on it.

Watch these moves!
I have been trying forever to get this video downloaded, and it finally worked. It is a couple of months old, but I had to share it. Addysen loves to dance and this is her favorite song - "All I want to do" by Sugarland. Every time she hears it she starts dancing. She is also a big fan of Taylor Swift and often dances and tries to sing to her music as well. In this video, if you watch closely and listen closely, you can hear her singing along, It is so cute! This girl is a great dancer. I think she gets her moves from daddy! ENJOY!!!

HALLOWEEN, not as planned
HALLOWEEN... This day did not end up how I planned. As many of you know, I'm a planner and I like things to work out how I plan them. Halloween did not go as planned. This is something I'm trying to adjust to -as a mom. Kids are on their own schedule and you can't plan things to always work out. No matter how hard you try and how you try to plan ahead, something is always going to throw it off - especially if you throw a kid into the mix!
ANYWHO. I got off of work early, got Addysen and we went home. She fell asleep on the way home - MISTAKE. She got a 15 minute nap. So we went in the house, I tried to put her down to get a little more sleep since I knew we had a big night ahead of us. Well, that little turkey, laid in her bed for about 45 minutes, talking, reading books, playing with her baby and whatever else she does in there. So I thought, this isn't working. So I decided to get ready to go for the evening. By the time I was ready, she was asleep. So I woke her up - MISTAKE. She was crabby the rest of the night. She cried putting on her costume and kept saying, "OUCH!" (something we hear daily, hour after hour). So we first went to see Patsy and Lindsay. Addy didn't say one word to them, smile at them or anything, until we left. She whispered, "thank you" and "bye." Then shouted it to them after she was in the truck and the door was shut. - what a stinker! Then we went to see Ruth. Addysen had warmed up a little more by then and was talking and putting on a show for Ruth. Then we were off to see Great Grandpa Vincent and Marge. Addysen did alright here too. Then we were off to see Grandpa Jim and Grandma Sharon. By now it was about 7:30-8:00. Needless to say, Addysen was wiped out - even after having some chocolate! She fell asleep on the way there and was completely out of goodness by the time we got inside. We didn't get any pictures with grandma and grandpa and I don't even think grandma got any picture of Addy in her costume! So, all in all, Halloween didn't go as planned. BUT Addysen was the cutest cow I've ever seen! Thank you to everyone who gave her a "treat!"

Marge - giving Addysen her treats. She loved the flash light.

(DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES EXPLAINED ABOVE. THESE ARE THE ONLY PICTURES THAT WERE TAKEN ON HALLOWEEN. THERE FOR WE HAD A PHOTO SHOOT TODAY IN HER COSTUME. WHICH, YOU CAN TELL BY THE FIRST PICTURE - SHE LOVED THIS IDEA!)
my sad cow, didn't want her costume on or to take any pictures.
