Meggan and Brad's Wedding

The happy couple!
(the reason behind the weekend celebration!)
Caleb and Addysen practicing on Friday night.

Their first walk down the aisle and they did perfect!

After dress rehearsal and dinner - Addysen was D-O-N-E-!

I guess you could say that Lexi was too! They were both looking a little rough by the end of the night, but they made it!

Pre-game dinner at Bennigan's. Getting psyched for the big show!

I love this picture!
Caleb seems to be in game mode and Hunter must be giving Addy some pointers.

Now doesn't this look like a group of kids ready to cooperate!??

Caleb and Addysen's walk down the aisle. Caleb got a little excited and shot right into show off mode. Half way down the aisle, he started shaking his head, put the ring pillow in front of his face and started booking it!

Hunter, Lexi, Caleb and Addysen walking back up the aisle after the wedding.
Yeah!! They all did it, they made it down and back!

Katie (x2)

Let the dancing begin!

What in the world??

That's not much better!??
(i guess fun was had by all!)

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!
(take #4)
FINALLY!! ( i knew we'd get these kids to cooperate sooner or later!)
Addysen and I watching the Oak Run fireworks on the boat.
(I can't believe it is July 4th and we're wearing long sleeves!!!)
Lindsay and Morgan settled in to watch the fireworks.
Addysen loved watching the fireworks from boat!
Aaron, Brandon, Caleb, Tammy and Jared watching the fireworks from the back of the boat.
*This may be the last PICTURE post for a while due to the fact we are now cameraLESS. The next day - July 5th, was beautiful, warm and sunny, so we went out for a day on the lake... As we were getting things gathered to get on the boat, and I was putting sunscreen on Addysen. When I finished up, she started walking towards the boat before I was ready. So with a beach bag, sun screen, cell phone and a camera in my hands, I nervously walked towards her to grab her hand as she was stepping down on the dock next to the rocky coastline. And with all of that going on, something had to slip. Unfortunately it was my camera. As it was slipping from my hands, Jared was already jumping into action to save it! He rescued my poor camera, but it was already dead. The pictures on the disc however were alive and well - thankfully. So, until I break down and buy a new camera - there will be no more pictures posted. Hopefully we get one soon, but this is the kind of purchase / decision that Aaron and I can never make up our mind on. Anywho... until next time!

Lindsay's Baby Shower

The second weekend of June, we had Lindsay's baby shower. Corey and I (mostly corey) hosted it for her at the Wataga Fire Station. It was a nice shower and Lindsay received a lot of nice things for her little bun the in oven. Once the shower ended, Lindsay informed me that she would like to change my name from 'kickin' Katie to 'kraftin' Katie. Yes, I am a crafter now. Well, not really, but we did have a lot of arts and craft time at my house before the shower.

I can't believe I did this, but I did, and it turned out really cute! I made a diaper cake. I can't take full credit, I will give part of the glory to Pam (a friend from my OSF days). Pam made one for my baby shower, so I stole her idea/creativity. I'm pretty proud of my craftiness - as I don't think I have a crafty bone in my body. Unlike my mother and her brilliance in making Halloween costumes. (he he he) That's a whole other story.

Craft project #2.
Tammy started this evil tradition of making the guest of honor look like a fool at their own party. She made ridiculous hats/outfits for mine and Emily's bachelorette parties and baby showers. Since I'm the youngest, I had to pass on this "FUN" onto someone else - so Lindsay has been my culprit - Sorry Lindz. So I made her a lovely hat to wear at the shower that said BABY MOMMA. If Jared is lucky, I'll make him one too with BABY DADDY on it. (and I'll make them wear them at the birth of their child)

Awwwe!

The cutest girls at the shower!

Morgy and Ca-ba's B-day Party

Also the second weekend of June, we went to Morgan and Caleb's Birthday Party. We had fun and of course Addysen was on cloud nine to be with Morgan and Ca-ba.
(Morgan is going to be 8 and Caleb is going to be 4)

Addysen was the official keeper of the presents. You had to go through her if you wanted one! She is one tough cookie! Look at her, she means business!
(ha ha ha, I love it when she fold her arms like this)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MORGAN AND CALEB!
WE LOVE YOU!

Whoops! I spilled...

Ah, I'll save it for later.

New rule -
Official keeper of the presents, gets to try out each one!

FRIENDS!

Lisa came home the second week of June. It was really good to see her, it has been too long! One night she was home we got a chance to cookout and catch up at Lindsay and Jared's house. We had fun and enjoyed seeing her! Addysen eventually warmed up and sang and danced a little with Lisa.
(and of course showed off her weirdness!)
