Super Bowl Party 2013

Aaron and I hosted the super bowl party again this year.  We had lots of food, beer, football, good company and crazy kids! We had a good time and I hope everyone else did too!

The super bowl party never really starts until the kids start dancing during the halftime show! 

Thank goodness for the good music Beyonce provided them!

Cloverbuds @ our Farm

On Febuary 10, Addysen's Cloverbud group came to our farm so Aaron could talk to them about calves. Addysen was so excited to have all her little buddies at "her" farm and to have her Daddy talking about "her" calves.  Aaron did an excellent job and the kids seemed to really enjoy being on the farm and seeing the new baby calves.

Anna & Ainsley...

Anna and Ainsley... those two are quite the little duo!  They are best buddies, ornery, a little sneaky, but cute as can be!  Anna and Lola stayed here for a couple of days while their daycare was closed and we had a great time.  We played, snacked, played, napped and played and danced!  It was a fun couple of days with some silly girls!

They spent a lot of time in this tent with I think EVERY stuffed animal they could find.

Elf on the shelf...

Ainsley was being a little stinker and she got in trouble.  So Aaron punished her by putting her up on the top shelf in the pantry:)  She hated it at first, then thought it was pretty funny.... so did we:)  I think before she gets too big I'll have to dress her up like an elf and take a picture of her up there & she can be our very own elf on the shelf:)

Cheerleading!

At the end of January, the high school cheerleading squad held a "cheer camp" for the grade school girls.  They held a practice for one night after school and taught them a dance and a cheer.  Then they got to perform it the next night at half time of the JV basketball game.  Addysen had a blast doing it and I really enjoyed watching.  And both girls really liked staying and watching the basketball team play. (I mean playing in the bleachers while the basketball team played:)

Girl Scout Father/Daughter Dance

In January, Aaron took Addysen to a Father/Daughter dance for Girl Scouts.  Addysen also wanted Ainsley to go, so Ainsley and I went with.  The girls had a great time and danced the night away.  Daddy enjoyed the night by watching his girls dance and talking farm talk with the other Daddy's.

This is the mask that Addysen made for Ainsley.  She said that Ainsley mask was a zebra.  This was the most that Ainsley would wear it.

Kittens

Before Christmas, I went and picked up some kittens to take to the farm.  Addysen and I LOVE these kittens and have begged Aaron to let us keep one at home, but he has not given in yet.  He did however let Addysen bring one home for the day over Christmas break.  He said the kitten had to stay out in the garage...well Addysen wanted to show her around our house:)  So she brought her in & I loved it!  (I may have encouraged Addysen to do it as well).  She was not in the house very long because Aaron told her if she poops or pees then she had to clean it up.  So I guess Addysen was not ready for that responsibility yet. Anywho, the kittens are sweet and we'll just keep visiting them at the farm until we break Aaron;)
