9 month old

On Friday, we went for Addysen's 9 month check up. She is doing great. She is a healthy growing baby. She is now 18 lbs 2 oz. and is 27 1/2 inches long. At this check up we didn't have to get any shots, but she did have to her her finger pricked to check for lead. She really didn't mind it the first time they pricked her finger, but they couldn't get any blood out. So they had to prick her again and they really had to squeeze and squeeze to get enough to come out. Needless to say - she did not like that very much.

Addysen is coming close to walking! She still pushes her little stride to ride bikes, and highchair all around. (pretty much anything she can stand up and push) Then last Friday, she took her first step for me! It was so exciting. She is standing independently a lot more now and for longer periods of time, and is taking 2-3 steps between Aaron and I.

Last Friday, was also the annual chili supper with the Erickson family. Thank you to Joel and Jenn for hosting in your lovely new home. We had a good time and the food was really good as usual too. Things were a little different this year though. Addysen the ham was there! She sure was proud of herself putting on a show for everyone in the garage. She was laughing and smiling and pounding on the door for every one's entertainment. She was a trooper and hung in there for almost the entire night, then she passed out, right there at the end. Sorry to everyone, I couldn't play bunco :( DARN IT!!!!! I really wish I could have, but Addysen is my first priority. Guess that leaves me out of bunco forever. SHUCKS!!! - "I'm picking up your sarcasm. " "That's because I'm laying it on you pretty thick." NAME THAT MOVIE??

HI...

Night time giggles.

Every night before we go to bed, Aaron and I always go and check on Addysen. Occasionally, I have to leave the room as soon as I see her because she is laying in some weird position and I get the giggles. Sometimes she is just flat on her back, arms and legs spread out and her mouth open like a dead bird. (that one really gets me) The other one is this one that I took a picture of. She is on her belly with her knees curled up under her with her little booty up in the air. It is very cute and funny to see. So I thought that I would share it with you.

Addysen's new tub

Addysen got a new tub and she loves it. She thinks that she is so cool as she plays so independently in it. As you can tell, she loves the duck head too! When you squeeze the ducks bill, it quacks and she just thinks that it is so funny.

Christmas with the Fredrickson's

Well, it has been a while since I have posted anything - sorry I have been slacking. Since I last posted, a lot has been going on. First off, we did get to meet Uncle Nate's special new lady friend. We didn't get to spend a lot of time with her, but she seems like a great girl so far...


It's not too often that I don't keep my word, and I told everyone after I took her picture, "oh yeah, that's going on the blog" So, I have to keep my word.

This was also the night that we had chistmas with the Fredrickson side of the family. Addysen once again made out like a bandit. By this time, it was Addysen's 5th time opening up presents and she was finally getting the hang of it and starting to enjoy all the paper and tissue paper. She once again put on a show for everyone.
